Meet the Teachers of 716 Music & More!

Our teachers come from different backgrounds, but they're united by a common passion: Sharing music with families in Western New York!

All of our Music Together® teachers have successfully completed the live Music Together Teacher Training, which is built on research in early childhood and music development.  We keep our skills fresh through workshops and advanced trainings offered by Music Together Worldwide.

Colleen Croce is the owner and director of 716 Music & More.  Music has always been a big part of Colleen's life.  While growing up, she participated in various singing groups in school and at church.  She also studied piano, flute and piccolo and was drum major for her high school marching band.  Colleen has studied dance for most of her life and holds a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy with Minors in Psychology and Dance. Her previous teaching experiences include gymnastics for preschoolers and dance for ages 3 to 18. After enjoying Music Together as a Mom for several semesters, Colleen decided that she would love to share her love of music and movement with other families.  Prior to assuming the role of owner/ director, she was a beloved teacher for Betty's Music Together from September 2007 - June 2021.  Colleen is driven by her love of sharing music, movement and her ukulele with children and their families.  She lives in Amherst with her husband and 2 children.

Colleen started her journey as a Music Together mom when her oldest child was 6 months old and fell in love with the program. Music was an important part of her childhood, and as she grew she took piano and vocal lessons for years and was involved in choral ensembles and musical theater. Colleen holds a Master of Education in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Northern Arizona University. She has a variety of teaching experiences, and in Spring of 2014 she completed her Music Together Teacher Training and began her journey as an amazing Music Together teacher. In addition to teaching Mixed-Age classes, Colleen has also taught Music Together In School at Amherst Nursery School. She loves being silly, having fun with preschoolers and seeing families have music in their lives! She lives in Amherst with her husband, three kids and two dogs.

Noelle started her Music Together journey as a mom in class in April of 2019 when her son Emmett was 4 months old.  Her daughter Emilia joined them in class in the fall of 2021.  Though she has a very successful career as a Nurse Practitioner, she was excited to try out something new when she was given the opportunity to become a Music Together teacher.  She completed her Music Together Teacher Training in April of 2023, followed by an apprenticeship during the summer semester.  When she is not making music or caring for patients with cancer, Noelle loves camping, all things Buffalo Bills and Sabres, and family movie nights with plenty of popcorn!

Miss Lisa began her Music Together journey in 2019 when she enrolled her 4-month-old son in class. It was an instant sensation for both her and her son. When Lisa's daughter was born in May of 2022, it was a no brainer that she would also attend music classes. Music has been an integral part of Lisa's life and even though she quit playing the clarinet in 5th grade she remained involved in Chorus and dance classes throughout the rest of her school years. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from SUNY Fredonia and from there she went on to work at Walt Disney World for 5 years. Lisa performed in several parades and shows but her favorites were Mickey's Boo to You Parade and Fantasmic!. Lisa went on to receive her Master of Science in Childhood and Special Education from Canisius College and she currently teaches middle school students with severe disabilities. Over the years Lisa has taught dance, theatre and acting classes to kids and adults of all ages. She is so excited to add babies and littles to the list! Lisa currently lives in Williamsville with her kids, Liam and Riley, and they all love reading, watching Bluey, going to Disney World on family vacations and of course, making music together.

In class and at home, the real teachers are the parents and caregivers!  Children are biologically wired to respond best to the model of the people with whom they have a strong bond of attachment.
